**** Client is looking for candidates with core Java, WebLogic, Spring,
JMS, and Batch Processing.****
* *
*In-depth experience with the following required:*
* *
- 7 years of experience in IT, including senior development experience
- 5+ years experience with Java
- 3+ years experience with J2EE
- In depth, *hands on experience* with the following:
- XML Schema, Web Services, EJB 2.1 design and development
- Strong understanding of messaging based systems - JMS design and
development
- Can identify and apply typical J2EE design patterns
- BEA WebLogic Server
- Experience with a design tool such as Rational Rose, Enterprise
Architect, etc.
- Experience with RDBMS
- Spring framework and Hibernate
- JSP and Servlet design and development
- Extensive experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design and the
ability to mentor others in its use
- Mature development and design skills.
- Excellent technical documentation skills (e.g. functional and
technical specifications, etc.)
- Experience with performance tuning high volume J2EE applications using
performance testing and analysis tools
- Extensive experience with project management methodologies and
techniques
- Extensive experience with complete software development life cycle
including, but not limited to, planning and estimating, requirements
gathering, analysis, design, selection of tools and technology,
construction, testing and testing methodologies, implementation, and
deployment management.
- Experience with reviewing and providing feedback on project
deliverables

*Preferred Skills and Experience:*

- Previous leadership experience
- Experience with Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools such as
BEA WebLogic Integration, Tibco’s BusinessWork, or webMethods’ Enterprise
Service Platform
- Experience using XQuery
- Oracle 9i / 10g experience
- Experience with continuous integration environments
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture
- Familiarity with UML and/or Rational Methodology
- Experience with batch processing is highly desired.
