Position: QA Tester
Location:Philadelphia, PA
Duration:6 months,
Rate:50$/hr on C2C or 1099
NO H1B
Must be real strong with SOAP/UI, Rest, Agile
Right-To-Hire (RTH) with the potential of conversion after 6 months based
on performance and project funding.
Need an experienced QA tester to test the REST based LDR application.
Tester will be embedded with the development team following an Agile
methodology.
Develop test cases and enter defects in Quality Center.
Test REST Services by executing acceptance, functional, and regression
tests.
Automate REST testing using soapUI Pro.
Review Web Service XML messages and Atom feeds and perform verification and
validation.
ExperienceQA
4+ years hands-on testing experience
2+ years hands-on test automation experience
Required Skills
Team minded (working with project managers, coordinating activities, etc.)
Good attitude, flexible, adaptable
Good planning skills (estimates, time management, etc.)
Good communicator (written and verbal skills, interpersonal skills)
High aptitude for learning new technologies
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Agile Methodology experience
Software Testing Life Cycle familiarity (process improvement)
Holistic approach to testing (integration, fail-over, negative, disaster
recovery, etc.)
Proven Test Analyst skills (developing test scripts, test execution, etc.)
Automation testing framework experience
Quality Center v10.0 familiarity (requirements, test plan/lab, defects,
dashboard)
soupUI, SOA Cleaner, Poster, RestClient, or similar software hands-on
experience
Web Services knowledge
REST (preferred) or SOAP hands-on experience
Special Requirements
A hands-on REST exercise will be conducted during the in-person interview.
