JOB DETAILS NOTE: Please go through the requirement and send me suitable resumes Sr QA Analyst with SaaS Architecture exp PERIOD: 6 months from start - ideally 15 August 2013 through February 2014 LOCATION- Norwalk CT JOB PURPOSE: The Software QA Analyst will be responsible for testing and providing assurance on standard domain-specific product solutions. This is a challenging technical position that requires application of a broad range of QA skills in an interesting SaaS architecture. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS: Ø Take product specification documents from Product Management and produce test cases that exercise all aspects of the solution. Ø Testing will include end-to-end manual tests but will also focus in-depth on specific areas of the solution implemented. Ø Decision making and contact strategy business rules using a proprietary rules engine similar to Blaze Ø Client hosts system and 3rd party service integration logic configured with Java components Ø Contact scheduling directives using XML and JavaScript and templates Ø Voice XML templates using Freemarker for voice communication Ø Execute unit and regression tests to ensure functionality meets requirements Ø Work with developers to produce automated tests and maintain them on a go-forward basis Ø Work with developers to triage defects to assist with speedy resolution Ø Ensure ticketing system updated with testing progress and identified defects Ø Communicate with other team members as required to coordinate efforts for speedy outcome Ø Communicate status as well as any issues\risks and escalate to Lead\Project Management in a timely fashion. REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION Ø Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in QA in a commercial software environment Ø Experience constructing and conducting tests using XML, SQL in a Linux environment Ø Experience with test automation tools Ø Demonstrable experience of owning projects and tasks and taking responsibility for seeing them through to their conclusion Ø A strong focus on results, not just progress Ø Strong understanding of quality assurance best practices Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills Ø Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science, Applications Systems Design, or other related Data Processing field of study.
