JOB DETAILS NOTE: Please go through the requirement and send me suitable resumes Sr Java Developer with SaaS Architecture exp PERIOD: 6 months from start - ideally 15 August 2013 through February 2014 LOCATION- Norwalk CT JOB PURPOSE: The Sr. Java Developer will be responsible for configuring and developing standard domain-specific product solutions. This is a challenging technical position that requires application of a broad range of skills in an interesting SaaS architecture. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS: Ø Take product specification documents from Product Management and implement solution. Ø Decision making and contact strategy business rules using a proprietary rules engine similar to Blaze Ø Client hosts system and 3rd party service integration logic with Java components Ø Contact scheduling directives using XML and JavaScript and templates Ø VXML templates using freemarker for voice communication Ø Conduct unit and regression tests to ensure functionality meets requirements Ø Work with QA team to produce and maintain automated tests Ø Troubleshoot and resolves defects as required Ø Ensures ticketing system updated with testing progress and identified defects Ø Analyze documented requirements and specifications to verify understanding, validate implementation against architecture and make improvement recommendations. Ø Communicate with other team members as required to coordinate efforts for speedy outcome Ø Communicate status as well as any issues\risks and escalate to QA Lead\Project Management in a timely fashion. REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION Ø Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java and other technologies such as XML Ø Demonstrable experience of owning projects and taking responsibility for seeing them through to their conclusion Ø A strong focus on results, not just progress Ø Strong understanding of quality assurance best practices Ø Excellent oral and written communication skills Ø Previous experience in all areas of the Information Technology field, including programming, systems design and SOA environment. Ø Experience with required platform and environment used, including but not limited to UNIX, Databases, and one or more Industry standard automation tools Ø Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent work experience, in Computer Science, Applications Systems Design, or other related Data Processing field of study.
