The coordination of activities to create the underpinning infrastructure for the Global Hub and to collaborate with partners in United and with 3rd parties, to coordinate the creation of our server technology and file exchange protocols. The Systems Analyst position has a strong infrastructure orientation, focused more on the servers and base software to be used and less on the application we’re developing. The person in this position is expected to coordinate work with Managed Services and with client current Infrastructure team. He or she will be a member of the Global Hub project team, working to develop the various platforms (development, testing, staging, Production, etc.) required to support the Global Hub and will take day to day responsibility for integration activities, liaising with various parties to ensure timely availability of the required platforms The platform will be a multi-tiered web environment, based on Microsoft Technology, so knowledge of that technology is a prerequisite. Knowledge of secure web architecture design would be an asset. This is a stand-alone position, without other equivalent positions in the project team, so ability to work unassisted is an asset.
