Responsibilities: · Lead projects to design and develop software engineering solutions using Java technologies and appropriate development life cycle · Implement projects using J2EE, EJB3, IDE, JDBC, SQL, JSP, XML, JSF, and SQL (DB2 or Oracle) · Perform object-oriented development in Java on UNIX/Linux systems · Use design patterns, UML and best practices to capture designs · Create user interfaces with an emphasis on human interface design and usability · Implement Web Services · Perform database design and use database caching strategies · Use bug tracking and source code control · Mentor junior developers Requirements: · A BS degree in computer science/engineering or similar discipline is required · Requires 5 to 10 years experience developing large-scale J2EE software applications · Development experience with EJB, IDE, JDBC, SQL, JSP, JSF, XML, UML, Struts, DHTML in a UNIX/Linux environment · Solid working experience with EJB3 or EJB2 with excellent Hibernate skills · Web Services development experience is highly desirable · Experience with JBoss 4.2 Application Server highly desirable · Must possess a strong working knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design methodologies, as well as experience in developing multi-threaded software applications · Experience using and Eclipse 3.2 IDE and MyEclipse a plus · Configuration management and revision control using CVS a plus Location : Los Angeles, CA Duration : 6 months Rate : $55-60/Hr Regards Mohib Amtex Systems Inc.
