**Job Title: Senior Windows Engineer*
Location: Highlands Ranch, CO
Duration: 1 Year
Rate: DOE
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the construction and implementation of new Windows
based infrastructure based on business requirements and adhering to tight
operations, security, and procedural models
- Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security, and availability of
new Windows based infrastructure based on business requirements and adhering
to tight operations, security, and procedural models
- Ability to operate in complex, highly-secure, and highly-available,
operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts
required to maintain those environments
- This position requires a candidate with strong hands on technical
engineer professional with business acumen
- Responsible for mentoring junior team members, developing ITIL
procedures and best practices standards
- Work with other Engineering Disciplines to develop Service Based
Reference Architectures that can be offered as services to our customers
- This position requires a dynamic, hard-working and ambitious
individual, with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Candidates will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills and
have experience working in large enterprise operational environments
REQUIREMENTS:
- Expert knowledge in Windows hardware, software, and applications
deployments
- *MCSE or equivalent work experience** ***
- Focus on SMS preferred
- Extensive networking background preferred
- Experience deploying and maintaining highly-available and highly-secure
Windows based servers and applications in a highly-available and
highly-secure data center environment
- Backup tools\troubleshooting experience (i.e. NBU)
- Hands On VMWare\Citrix experience (i.e support, installation and
architecture)
- Scripting toolset experience and understanding
- Ability to conduct operational acceptance turnover meetings
- Ability to write technical design and build documentations for all
aspects of a technical infrastructure
- Ability to integrate content from other domain areas and construct
final technical design documents
