Please note, RN has stated that the candidate cannot rely on ETL as a crutch they must be able to write Terra Data code. Length: 6 months Start: ASAP Location: Seattle, WA. Top skills: 1. Know Terra Data inside and out. Able to code in native form. 2. Written stored procedures in Terra Data. 3. Experience creating their own in house ETL tools. The ETL Developer will be responsible for system development, implementation, and administration of all components that make up the Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence infrastructure, applications and related tools. The candidate must demonstrate knowledge of data warehouse implementation process, from business requirements through logical modeling, physical database design, data sourcing and data transformation, data loading, SQL, end-user tools, database and SQL performance tuning. He/she will lead data warehousing projects, and is responsible for the overall technical solution meeting the Business Intelligence needs of the business customers. The candidate must be able to: Analyze source system data structures and map them to target data warehouse schemas. Must have excellent skills in requirements analysis, data assessment, business process reengineering, and familiarity with data warehousing design concepts such as 3rd Normal Form and Dimensional modeling. Design, create and tune physical database objects (tables, views, indexes) to support normalized and dimensional models. Maintain the referential integrity of the database. Work with the ETL lead to formulate ETL approach and appropriately uses Teradata Tools and Utilities Analyze application and data integration problems, provide solutions and recommend corrective actions. Serve as a technical expert to the data warehouse project teams and key business individuals for support of applications, tools, data integration, and ad-hoc analytics.
