Position: Lead Business Systems Analyst #1675
Position Code: Contract

Job Description:
The selected candidate will serve as a liaison between the system
development teams and business groups. Requires the ability to identify,
analyze, and document business/functional requirements. Must be able to
analyze complex issues and effectively communicate the impact/feasibility of
proposed solutions. This includes establishing long-term objectives and
specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them. Must provides
guidance and direction to project deliverables, and encourage developing and
building teams. Requires active learning/listening skills. Works directly
with the development teams to ensure that they fully understand the
specifications and to ensure that testing results correspond to the business
expectations. Must have strong interpersonal skills. Relies on the ability
to establish and to develop constructive and cooperative working
relationships with others, and to maintain them over time.
Requirements
• Must have 6-8 years of business systems analysis experience or related
area
• Ability to work with individuals at all levels within and outside the
organization
• Prior experience in implementing technology based projects
• Must be able to understand and absorb business concepts quickly
• Excellent problem solving skills are required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
• Must have prior Requirements Management Process experience
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Must be proficient in Microsoft SharePoint
• IBM Rational Suite Experience, specifically RequisitePro, a plus
• B.A. or B.S. in business, computer science or a similar degree strongly
preferred, but substantial relevant experience could substitute
