*Description : * Location: Alexandria VA Duration: 6 months Rate: Rate+ Expenses Role: Network Operations Specialist Job Description: General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) is looking for an individual to support the Kingstowne IT Infrastructure. Will act as second tier support to issues escalated up from the help desk supporting VoIP and video teleconferencing (VTC) services. Provide additional coverage to support other 2nd tier team members as needed. Perform ad-hoc projects as assigned by the sub-team lead. • Perform move/add/changes (MAC) of IP phones in Cisco CallManager. • Perform MAC to voicemail accounts with Cisco Unity. • Perform VTC call scheduling, setup, and testing. Will also act as resource manager for all VTC equipment. • Responsible for ticket tracking to resolution of tickets handed off from the help desk. • When necessary provide additional coverage to other 2nd tier team members including for Common Access Card (CAC) provisioning, network troubleshooting (VPN, wireless connectivity). • Document standard processes and procedures and update as necessary. Skills Required: • Basic understanding of VoIP technologies (including provisioning). • Previous experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (aka CallManager) and Unity is preferred but other vendor experience will suffice. • Experience with VTC technologies (Polycom is preferred). • Ability to multitask and to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment. • Good communication and documentation skills for client interaction. • Must be detailed oriented. • Must be US Citizen Note: The following screening are mandatory for this project.
