*Required Skills:* · Oracle DBA, Red Hat Linux/Sun Unix platform. · 10g RAC database applications, Oracle TDE, OEM Grid control, RMAN. · Oracle 9i and 10G database on UNIX and Linux platform is a must · Working knowledge of MS SQL Server databases · Strong verbal and written communication skills. · Skilled in SQL statement tuning with detailed understating of AWR and StatsPack reports, database performance tuning and PL/SQL programming. · Basic understanding of Connection pooling and middleware software like JBoss, JRun, Tom Cat, IBM Web sphere is desired. · Willingness to work on-call DBA rotations in a 7x24 environment. *Education:* The candidate should have a *Bachelor's degree or Masters in Computer Science* or 3 to 8 years of related experience in IT or a related field.
