*Please send suitable profiles at [email protected] * *Job Title: Network Analyst* *Location: Groton, CT* *Duration: Longterm* *Major Role Responsibilities:* * * · Provide NetWorker and Avamar SME support · Provide SME troubleshooting support for technical issues encountered throughout the project. · Review existing project plans to ensure completeness and consistency. · Open RFCs as needed to perform migrations from legacy backup environment to NetWorker/Avamar and to retire legacy backup infrastructure *Experience/Background* · 3-5 years of advanced EMC NetWorker (formerly Legato) administration experience · 1-2 years of EMC Avamar administration experience · Knowledge of NDMP Backups, NetWorker modules and Storage Nodes · Experience with Ultrium LTO tape technology, SUN STK/Quantum Tape Libraries and Auto-changers · Knowledge of SAN, NAS and data protection infrastructure and solutions. · Working knowledge of backup reporting tools such as EMC Data Protection Advisor (DPA) and NetWorker Management Console (NMC) · Expert troubleshooting and analysis skills including performance tuning and capacity planning. · Working knowledge of 3rd party products, including VERITAS VxVM, VxFS, VCS · Must be able to write and understand technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures and Change Management for assigned tasks · Should be able to program in shell scripting, awk and perl · Ticket Management skills are a plus as is experience with Solaris, HP/UX, Linux and Windows *Competencies:* * * [image: *] Organizational Agility (critical competency) [image: *] Process Management (critical competency) [image: *] Prioritization Setting (critical competency) · Drive for Results · Customer Focus · Problem Solving *Skills:* · Problem Management · Systems Integration *Other Skills:* · Attention to Detail · Tenacity · Communications Skills · Time Management · Good Judgment · Ability to Prioritize Thanks & Regards, *Laxmikanth** Software Transformations Inc. *16901 N.
