Job Description: - Seasoned level job working under minimal supervision,
develops procurement sourcing and negotiation strategies for assigned medium
dollar value projects.
- Assesses business clients' current and future needs and expectations.
Reviews clients' spend levels, and conducts cost/ benefits analysis.
- Partners with clients on strategy, contract negotiations and the
purchasing processes. Ensures that business requirements are included in
sourcing strategies and the statement of work.
- Uses e-Procurement and e-sourcing tools.
- Negotiates sourcing events to obtain the highest value in services
purchased.
- Develops commodity specific RFPs and is engaged in RFP analysis.
- Develops and provides current savings ROI, and other metrics to business
clients.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 5-8 years of experience in
related field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish
goals. Reports to a category manager.
Release Comments: Please disregard the IT Business Analyst title.
The actual is more along the lines of a IT Sourcing/Procuremen t openeing.

- Expertise in industry knowledge specific to ASP/SaaS and Market data a
plus.
- Good negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of building contract terms and service levels into contracts.
