I will provide details on the credit guidelines for this customer if interested in moving forward. Responsible for the definition, design, construction, integration, testing, and support of reliable and reusable software solutions, addressing business opportunities. Includes systems analysis, creation of specifications, coding, testing, and implementation of application programs and data interfaces. Requires a previous domain of experience in applications development. Responsible for overall application design, including interfaces with other applications and systems. Assures that application designs are consistent with industry best practices application attributes (including scalability, availability, maintainability, and flexibility). 5+ years experience with Financial Services clients Oversight Coordinating others work while involved with multiple work streams Related experience 3-5 years prior application development experience Capital One Experience Desired Demonstrated experience with large scale application integration efforts Have participated in more than 5 Agile projects Communication - Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modeling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels Ability to influence multiple levels on highly technical issues and challenges Demonstrated experience to influence and coordinate third parties and suppliers Experience with minimal application integration Have participated in 1-4 Agile projects Communication - Ability to deliver highly technical information to a broader audience beyond the team lead while influencing within the team Exposure to working with third parties and suppliers This is for the eCommerce Online Banking group - part of the BAT (Bank Agile Team). There are currently 3 teams they will get to 5 eventually. They are looking for an architect to work with their major 3rd party vendors such as FISERV (www.fiserv.com), SHAW, and Fidelity. These vendors are responsible for providing various ecom services to Capital One and each vendor has an architect but this architect that she wants will be interacting with these groups to ensure that the bigger picture and overall compliance is upheld. This is a very distributed work environment and although she is planning on building up the entire architecture group here right now some people are in New Jersey, New York, Plano, New Orleans....so this person will have to be able to work very well in this type of environment. Some key experience that she is looking for: 1. Agile Experience - they work in the "Capital One Agile" way and not in the pure Agile environment and not in 2. SOA or Service Oriented Architecture experience 3. Financial Experience or experience with a very large corporation (IBM, HP, etc...) 4. Understanding of .NET/C# in terms of design concepts - she does not want someone looking to see if the code is tight and will fit specific requirements (they have people for that), but this is online banking so they need to understand how it will fit into the online space in the .net world.
