Please reply back to [email protected] along with the resume, contact details and rate expecting. *NEED 2 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES FROM THEIR PROJECTS* ** Role: QA Tester Location: Manhattan, NYC Duration: 6 months **MUST HAVE ARIBA EXPERIENCE* * Good hands-on experience is prefrered in Ariba testing. Plans, develops, and executes various components of system testing and/or quality assurance. Approaches testing and quality assurance from a business point of view by creating test scripts and scenarios to ensure delivered functionality meets the business need. Develops specific test conditions and expected results for regression, functionality, and stress testing. Provides daily guidance to the testing efforts of the application project teams. Reviews product requirements and design specifications to create a QA test plan. Executes test scripts to validate test cases, including creating and executing complex automated test scripts. Creates QA test procedures to assure accurate and repeatable test results. Creates test estimates from design documentation and creates quality assurance project schedules. Creates documents to apprise project team members as to the status of meeting defined quality goals. Provides status reports to project business owner. *PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: * - Assist in authoring test documents (plans, operational support documents, post-test analysis, and reports). - Act as a test team member for all phases of test, from test concept through final delivery of data and reports. - Identify data anomalies and assist in technical, and operational analysis to resolve performance variances discovered during testing. - Investigate reported software issues and write clear, concise defect reports - Leverage existing software automation tools to expedite standard testing routines - Provide accurate time estimates, and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner - Create Testing project plan tasks and manage the plan - Create UAT scripts and work with end user to execute these scripts - Create UAT scripts that will be utilized for end user training. *POSITION REQUIREMENTS * - Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, or equivalent business experience - System, UAT Testing experience involving process analysis and improvement. - The incumbent must maintain excellent communication and analytical skills and working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs *KEY SKILS: * - Strong knowledge of system testing metrics, direct hands-on experience with ad hoc query programs, automated testing tools and reporting software ie.
