Job Title: System Analyst Location: Chevy Chase, MD Duration:6+ Months contract with extensions Our client is actively seeking a motivated Application Systems Analyst to join our team. This position will require the candidate to perform one or more of the following functions: gather business requirements, produce system requirements, conduct functional and integration testing, and triage problems reported from the User Acceptance Test environment or production. Must have skills: Gathering and producing system Requirements conduct functional and integration testing Experience with User Acceptance Test environment and production Experience with Property & Casualty Insurance industry Job Requirements: The ideal candidate is an individual who excels in customer service and is results oriented. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills are required. Critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills are a must. A Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent work experience is a required. Proven results in the Property & Casualty Insurance industry is a must. An understanding of client/server, web, and/or object oriented technologies is desired. Candidate should have a working knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies and is willing to contribute as a member of a team.
