Position Sys Admin Location: Johns Creek, GA. Duration: 4 Months Requirements Web Application Administrators Job Class: Systems Administrator Job Description: Join an exciting Retail Organization located outside the perimeter in a suburban setting. This organization offers an integrated line of central merchandising, inventory, sales, operations and distribution, financing and human resource management software for use throughout their divisions. Our customer currently needs a Web Application Server Administrator for a 4 + month Contract in Johns Creek, GA. Description: The Web Application Support Analyst position will provide support in the Infrastructure & Field Services Service (IFS) organization. The Web Application Support team is responsible for the day-to-day operational support of key critical services and infrastructure. The team performs Third-Level support covering incidents, configuration changes, deployments, RCA , system administration and monitoring. Responsibilities - Provide daily operational support for production and non-production environments - Perform monitoring and root cause analysis of incidents - Perform deployments to production and non-production environments - Participate in data gathering for root cause analysis of incidents - Ability to consistently report to work on time for the shift support ed Experience Requirements: - Basic knowledge of web application infrastructure - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Mature, confident, good relationship-building skills - Ability to perform multiple roles and learn new skills - 1+ years experience with UNIX (AIX) - 1+ years experience with WebSphere , Weblogic or JBOSS application servers Pluses - Experience with WebSphere version 5 and up - Database Administration Familiarity (DB2 Preferred) Each shift is 10 hours long with 4 days on and 3 days off.
