Sorry, we don't use Quick I/O.  I don't know if it's even an option on Win2K.

Jack (or anyone), we have a predicament with the Sun version of Netbackup and Quick I/O when used with RMAN.  RMAN cannot create a backup of the special link along with the actual data file.  On a restore, only the data file is copied back to disk, in effect turning the Quick I/O file back into a regular Unix-buffered file.  We have researched possible work-arounds.  So far we will have to create the Quick I/O file before initiating the RMAN restore/recover commands, or restore the files without the links and turn them into Quick I/O files at a later time.  Any other experiences out there?
