No, you do not have to restart the listener.
touch the listener.log file (we do a 'cp /dev/null $ORACLE_HOME/network/log/listener.log)
and the listener will start writing to it again.

You have to restart your listener. It continues to write to "invisible" file (inode without any reference from directories). Welcome to UNIX.

After moving the listener.log and compressed, there is no more log for the listener. Could anyone help me please ? Thanks.
