I am not saying that there was nothing useful for me in this book. I read it
from beginning to the end and enjoyed. Simply that I knew most of what was
written. But again I would be very glad if I had such book when I began
study Oracle.
Peace, ok.

On Thu, 7 Jun 2001,Hillman, Alex scribbled on the wall in glitter crayon:
->I am not talking about getting rich. $100/hr is not near rich in my
opinion.
->What I am talking about is to get as much money as possible for one's
work.
->Now, I do not know how many copies of your book DBA 101 were sold (by the
->way in my opinion very good book - regretfully it was published a little
->late for me).
i don't know, my copy [well highlighted and scribbled in] is next to me
while i work and i still learn things from it. bought a copy for my Jr. DBA
to train from too. seems to have worked well for that too. and i have been
at this DBA stuff for a few years now.
as for writing a book, no way i'd try to make money from it. if i ever take
part in that activity, i'll want to write it the way i see it and not worry
about making money.
