You are required to make your temp tablespace > 6GB to handle that index.
You can add datafiles on other mount point where you find space. If there
are lot of deletions in recent past on that table on which you
are recreating index then index size will be much less than 6GB. If you drop
and recreate index (to avoid further space problem in your target
tablespace) must check for resultant invalid objects and recompile it if
any....

Hi Friends
I need to rebuild the Indexe of 6Gb size. For that When Iam doing rebuild
option Its saying temp space insufficent!! So right now my temp tablespace
size 1.75Gb spreading around 4 datafiles across two disks, I can't touch
theose disks because of full. So I need to add another datafile/files to
support my rebuild for that I need to increase temp tablespace, But can I
bring it back to orignial 1.75Gb??? of temp tablespace after my rebuild is
completed.
