the error is Oracles method of telling you that 9i is not supported on RedHat 7.1.
After the squabble is over and the two of them are on good terms again the RedHat
certified Oracle 9i will have the error removed.
Sorta a'kin to the copy protection that software had in years past.
On the other side of the coin.. I remember a posting a few weeks ago where 7.1 and 9i
were loaded successfully. The 7.1 was SUSI 7.1 posted by Mr. Jared 06/18

Did anyone try to install Oracle 9i on Linux 7.1 ..
I was trying to install it and running into this error . (when running runInstaller )
SIGSEGV 11* segmentation violation
All the prerequisites are in place .. Any thoughts??
