Has anyone done this? Let's say I have a procedure named foo and want to call it in a Sitescope monitor. There are no arguments to foo. I just want to call it and get the one value it returns. Freshwater doesn't have any doc for this and they've been sitting on my request for information for a week.
They do have a document with an example for SQL Server but nothing for Oracle. If Oracle were like SQL Server, you'd just put the name of the procedure in the query line on a typical database monitor, but I tried that and it doesn't work. We're using the jdbc thin driver to a version 8.1.7.2 instance if it makes any difference. Thanks. -Chris _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.com -- Author: Chris McGrail INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- (858) 538-5051 FAX: (858) 538-5051 San Diego, California -- Public Internet access / Mailing Lists -------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
