Chris,
As far as I know no version of 8.1.x was ever released for HP-UX 10.2. The
latest version of Oracle for 10.2 in my bank of CD's is 8.0.6. I believe the
8.0 versions bridged the 10.2/11.0 OS versions as I have both 10.2 and 11.0
versions of 8.0.5 and 8.0.6.

Hi everyone,
Do Oracle product certification's come and go? I have Oracle
enterprise 8.1.7 for hp-ux 10.2. It's an official Oracle Corp CD, that we
are licensed for but Oracle tells me this isn't certified and that they need
me to go to hp-ux 11 or 11i. Was 8.1.7 ever certified on hp-ux 10.2 and if
not, why would they put out that combination knowing that people would use
it? Is it a transition CD (from 7 to 8i while going from 10.2 to 11)? Are
there any other hp-ux 10.2 shops using 8.1.7?
Thanks
