Chris,

Not a problem. I actually opened an iTAR to get the 8.1.6 upgrade for HP-UX
10.2. I wondered why it was closed so quickly with no action. Then I got the
HP-UX 11.0 version which had a new tar number. Looked it up and found my
answers. Took a week to wash that egg off of the face.

Dick, Jesse,

Thank you for the confirmation. I hate brain freeze. Since I only had
the CD's for a few short days (the home office keeps them at their site),
I'll just chalk it up to being tired. I don't know why, but I was convinced
I saw 817 for 10.2 on the sleeve. Thanks again for setting me straight.

Hi everyone,

Do Oracle product certification's come and go? I have Oracle
enterprise 8.1.7 for hp-ux 10.2. It's an official Oracle Corp CD, that we
are licensed for but Oracle tells me this isn't certified and that they need
me to go to hp-ux 11 or 11i. Was 8.1.7 ever certified on hp-ux 10.2 and if
not, why would they put out that combination knowing that people would use
it? Is it a transition CD (from 7 to 8i while going from 10.2 to 11)? Are
there any other hp-ux 10.2 shops using 8.1.7?

Thanks
