Correct. And since I use ONames, a TNSNAMES.ORA file is not supposed to be required on the client. QCO, however, still requires it, but there are workarounds.
Tbink about it. What's the point of centralizing your instance names in ONames if you still require that same info to be somehow magically synched on each client?
