Bill, I have to live with people who want to usc Access too. I agree wfth you it is a pain in the a--. Our solution, with damagement's agreement, is to only do what is possible. I think that in your situation you'll have to do likewise. The problem being Access's local tables. What may help is if they link the tables & apply the appropriate limits on each.
