This sounds like Oracle is pricing/licensing itself out of the market. This is not good because I see a lot of new student with MS SQL skills and no Oracle skills. Guess what, they will want to work with MS SQL when they finally start working. Some of these grads will become bosses one day and they will prefer what they know.
When will these people learn? IBM priced OS/2 out of the market. Sun priced Solaris out of the Intel market (until recently, but it's too late). Oracle is going soon if they continue to do this. -- Lyndon Tiu -- Please see the official ORACLE-L FAQ: http://www.orafaq.net -- Author: Lyndon Tiu INET: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fat City Network Services -- 858-538-5051 http://www.fatcity.com San Diego, California -- Mailing list and web hosting services --------------------------------------------------------------------- To REMOVE yourself from this mailing list, send an E-Mail message to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (note EXACT spelling of 'ListGuru') and in the message BODY, include a line containing: UNSUB ORACLE-L (or the name of mailing list you want to be removed from).
