Joan, You may want to log in an iTAR to find out if this patch can be applied to 8.1.7.2. The note said it was for 8.1.7.4 and I have been applying it to only 8.1.7.4 software on our servers. Other lower versions of 8.1.7.x are not patched, as we are upgrading those databases to 8.1.7.4.
