Ray,
ipcs *will* tell you the ID's of all Oracle SHM segments.
What it won't tell you is which ones *not* to delete.
You need oradebug for that.

ipcs will tell you the id numbers to feed to ipcrm:
$ ipcs

key msqid owner perms used-bytes messages
$ ipcrm shm 2588672

$ ipcs
