Might be looking for one of those moving calculators.... If I was making $75K in Richmond and moved to Boston for $100K, I could well be going downhill at that... I remembered when I was making $75k they would offer me $95k to move to DC and I ALWAYS turned them down. I figured DC would require a "house" across the street with a walk way, and then the family dwelling somewhere outside DC for the weekend. I remember once it took 3 hours to go from North DC to South DC/95 because of an accident or two. Got home at 10-11PM.
But then again, so often there are "outskirts" when you get to know a place/city and maybe one area has houses and living in the $350k per house, but another area within 10 miles where the houses are $100K... But it is nice to know if gas, for instance is $1.75 per gallon due to city tax, county tax, state tax, and guzzler tax... They keep moving those moving calculators around though. In my home town, the 2 story with basement house across the street went for $13,000, and many of the houses there are $21,000... But jobs are few and most min wage. And databases? What's a database? Great Plains is over kill for many there. Maks. -----Original Message----- Connor McDonald Sent: Friday, June 27, 2003 5:19 AM To: Multiple recipients of list ORACLE-L Whatever the figure may be, two things are certain if the salary is "X": a) I probably don't deserve to get "X" b) I should be getting more than "X" :-) --- Helen J Mitchell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Does anyone have information about salaries in > Denver?
