Tanel & List,

SQL > select name,network,status, from v$dispatcher;

NAME            :       D000
NETWORK :       (ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=oradb)(PORT=1027))
STATUS  :       WAIT

my listener.ora doesn't have an entry for this and LSNRCTL STATUS
doesn't show that it's listening on port 1027.
but still,if i change my port no in client tnsnames.ora to 1027,
i'm able to connect.totally confused :((

Thanks and Regards,
Jp.
