*Location: Albany, NY* *Rate: $30-32/hr max* * * *Primary Skills:* *Unix, Linux, Enterprise Heterogeneous Computing environment, administration, cisco networking equipment and software (including IOS versions 12.1 and higher)* * * *Mandatory Requirement: * • Minimum of four years experience in the installation, administration and support of Unix or Linux in an Enterprise Heterogeneous computing environment. • Minimum of four years experience in the installation, administration and support of Cisco networking equipment and software (including IOS versions 12.1 and higher). • Minimum of four years experience in the installation, administration and support of firewalls and related software. *Desired Requirements* • At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of RedHat Linux operating system versions 3, 4, and 5. • At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Cisco Network Assistant and Cisco Security Device Manager. • At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Cisco VPN appliances, including ASA’s. • At least 2 years experience in the installation, administration and support of Checkpoint firewalls and software (including NGX). • At least 1 year experience running security utilities and/or appliances, such as vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and penetration tests. • At least 1 year experience in installing, administering and supporting Open Source monitoring tools Big Brother (Hobbit) and MRTG. • At least 1 year experience in installing, administering and supporting VMWare ESX. • At least 1 year experience in configuring Active Directory authentication (via RADIIUS) for VPN’s, Checkpoint firewalls, and Cisco equipment. • Checkpoint firewall certification (CCSE).
