The project involves implementing a spreadsheet control software package audits Excel spreadsheets and Access databases outside of IT control to meet statutory and audit requirements. Following are the key controls: · Change control · Access control Version control · Input control · Overall analytics · Back-up and archival · Documentation · Security and data integrity · Segregation of duties/roles/procedures. The trick is they need a resource with some analytical skills, not just a test executor.
