Mandatory Skills .Strong Oracle Database Administration skills over a period of no less than 5 years and covering at least Oracle 9i/ 10g / 11g releases .Support to developers on PL/SQL and Application/SQL tuning point of view. .Database refreshes/restore (RMAN/export-import) as on when required. Good understanding of RMAN backup technology. .New Database Creation and Database Upgrade. Experience in supporting ASM instances. .OEM Grid control configuration, maintenance, Day to day Grid control administration and Grid control alert monitoring in Production environment, proactive action to be taken as per business criticality. .Database Performance Tuning (including OS tuning, Oracle database db parameters tuning, query tuning, etc.) .PL/SQL to administer DBA functions .Database compliance/Security and understanding to setup up auditing.
