Position: Java Developer (Mortgage)
Location: Coppell, TX
Duration: 6+ months
Rate : $55hr

*JOB SUMMARY *
The Data Services - Java Developer is responsible for developing Java based
data services using the latest techniques and technologies. You will work
collaboratively with other teams taking a project from conception, through
analysis, prototyping, design, and finally to implementation. You will be
responsible for developing robust data services that are highly scalable,
extensible, and that are easy to maintain and monitor. You will apply your
background in database modelling and SQL to design and develop robust,
scalable solutions to meet the requirements from various application teams.
You will apply your background in enterprise application development using
Java and related frameworks to build services that integrate with
traditional enterprise systems. You will follow an agile development
process, working closely with product managers, engineers and various
business stakeholders to develop best-in-class solutions to support our
application teams and our business.
*Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities *
• Design, Develop and Deploy mission critical Data Services relied on by
multiple applications that have thousands of users
• Develop highly efficient SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
• Make effective use of ORM frameworks
• Work in an agile development team with Product Development, Engineering,
Marketing and various business stakeholders
*Essential Skills *
• 5+ years of development experience on Web Services using Java
• Strong Java development experience
• Good understanding of XML and JSON message formats
• Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL development
• Excellent knowledge of SQL and hands on experience with ORM frameworks
such as Hibernate
• Experience working with service-based architectures including REST / SOAP
• Up-to-date with the latest server-side frameworks, techniques, and
technologies
• Ability to architect complex Integration Flows using EAI tools and Web
Services
• Experienced with version management using Git in a continuous integration
environment • Strong communication skills
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various
stakeholders
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
