* * *Oracle Apps DBA* *Location:* Denver Colorado *Duration:* 6 months Description: · Minimum 5 years Oracle Windows Database Administration experience including tuning, monitoring, backup and recovery. · Experience with Oracle running in a Windows 2008 clustered environment. · Experience installing Oracle 11g and Oracle Patches. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Experience installing Failsafe in a Windows clustering environment. · OEM Experience, including installation and configuration, in a Windows environment. · Must be a self starter and an independent worker experienced with Windows server environment, Oracle 10g and 11g. · Create, test, and execute a plan to upgrade from Oracle Windows10.2G to Oracle 11.2G including Failsafe and OEM in Windows 2008R2clustered environment. · Monitor existing Oracle database clusters and systems and solve problems as necessary. · This person will work under the guidance and direction of the existing Oracle Database Administrator. · This person may work with other consultants to achieve a plan for the Oracle upgrade. · This person will share in Remedy help ticket problem resolution.
