Am looking for the *TEABLEAU ADMIN* LOCATION: RESTON VA H1B/EAD/GC/US CITIZEN Must have’s: - IT consultant with over 6 years of experience in Tableau with at least 3+ years of experience in Product administration related activities. Experience in other BI tools is a plus (MicroStrategy, Tibco Spotfire) - Experience in Tableau Report and Dashboard development. - Experience in Database technologies Oracle, SQL Server and general DBA skills. This will include monitoring space usage and server performance, diagnosing errors, administering distributed databases and performing database modifications. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Contractor will work stakeholders and clients on Tableau related activities - Knowledge of scripting languages used in Tableau for scheduling reports. - Demonstrate independent work on owning IT support tasks related to Tableau specifically and overall BI initiatives and projects e.g provide LOEs for new BI initiatives, own software license management and maintenance activities, work with vendors on troubleshooting product defects and customer issues related to the product(s). The importances of skills in order are: Tableau Administration, Tableau Functionality (use of Tableau Desktop and Web Intercator), Database, Communication and Interpersonal Skills, Manage Tableau environments, Java/.net development skills The contractor will be working on Business Intelligence Tools Administration.
