Job Description:
The Hosting Services Team supports Centricity Business and Centricity
Practice Solutions and Centricity EMR customers in a hosted environment
within our GE datacenters.
As part of the Hosting Services Team you will have the opportunity to work
with the latest hardware technologies, operating systems, databases and web
technologies.
This position is a key member of the CPS and EMR Hosting Services Support
group and will provide phone support for our customers as well as work
directly with customers to answer questions and resolve issues, working
across teams as necessary to resolve issues.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Windows 2000/2003,
VMWare, Citrix, and Unix (HP-UX, RHEL preferred, SQL and or Oracle
technologies).

Ability to utilize Call Tracking Tools and CRM tools and logging cases etc.
Receive, research, and resolve customer questions and problems within the
software related to: Electronic Medical Records/Practice Management
Systems, System Operating Systems (Microsoft, UNIX, Citrix, WTS), System
Databases (Oracle, SQL Server), Interface/Integration with 3rd Party
Products, and/or Clinical workflow.
Take ownership of Customer issues for assigned cases
Take a proactive and timely approach to Issue resolution
Demonstrate ability to utilize available tools, documentation, and
resources to help resolve issues
Create and execute action plan for Issue resolution within allocated call
window.
Initiate escalation as appropriate to ensure management awareness of
problems and/or delays with resolution issues.
Participate in routine system maintenance and update activities for ASP
services.
Participate in organizational and individual continuous improvement:
Be a positive influence in the work place
Accurately represent expectations, intentions, and attitudes of customers
and coworkers
Participate and embrace Team and Organizational Projects and Processes
Participate and embrace changes for team, department, and business needs

Required Skills:
BS degree in CS, EE, Information Systems or a related field (or High School
Diploma/GED and 7 years development, Support and/or production DBA
experience)
Minimum of five years in a technical support role directly customer facing
Ability to work independently with customers to resolve complex technical
issues
Ability to work within a diverse, technically oriented team setting is a
must
Ability to explain technical concepts to all levels in an organization
Willingness to maintain appropriate internal and external documentation
Ability to work on cross-functional troubleshooting teams
Organized and detail oriented
Demonstrated project management experience and the ability to organize work
in an efficient manner in addition to the ability to work well under stress
and time pressures
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010: Word, Excel, Access and
PowerPoint
Have technology expertise in Citrix including required certifications OR
have technology expertise as a DBA including required certifications.

Desired Skills:
Experience with UNIX, preferably HP-UX and Microsoft Windows Server
200/2003.
Experience with XenApp 5,6  & Citrix Presentation Server, Access Gateway
and Password Manager including relevant certifications
Experience with SQL and Oracle including relevant Database Developer
certifications
Experience with VMWare ESX and Consolidated Backup.
Developing technical and project leadership skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
Organized with ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
The ability to quickly absorb new changes in computer technologies is
necessary.
Demonstrated ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks as well as
attention to details is necessary.
