*Title: * Senior Network Engineer/Architect
*Location*: Washington, DC & remote

*Overview*:
The consultant will provides Network (LAN/WAN) subject matter expertise
with client to build understanding of the current state, future state and
integration plan for the future state of Network Architecture. *The client
is looking to migrate 11 Juniper SA SSL VN devices to new clusters of Cisco
ASA 5585s.* Consulting engagement would entail the *transfer* of the
Juniper configurations to the new Cisco appliances, including user base,
authentication mechanisms to backend servers and existing policies. *The
resource would only be responsible for transferring existing Juniper
configuration builds to the new Cisco devices, not installation*.
* *
*Requirements:*
1. Must have 8-10 yrs Network Architecture SME { Network
technology DNS, NAT Filtering, Firewall, Network Design }
i. Obtains the business and IT requirements, goals,
expectations, and success parameters associated with the engagement.
ii. Performs a Gap Analysis & provide recommendations.
iii. Identifies and documents the top challenges and
obstacles as collected from the interviews.
iv. *Must be able to prepare a Level of Effort and
associated Scope of Work for the bid to customer.*
2. Customer service experience with integration of
infrastructure Security platforms & solutions with other technologies
(i.e., Storage, Server, Network, Active Directory, Database, and other
operating systems)
*i. **Must have experience Juniper legacy models are
Juniper SA2000/4000/4500/6000 devices.*
*ii. **Must have experience with Cisco ASA 5585 devices*
*iii. **Must have prior experience performing an SSL VPN
migration {JUNIPER TO CISCO}*
3. Strong preference for Consultant with one of more of
the follow certifications: *(NOT A MUST)*
· JNCIS-FWV,
· JNCIA-FWV,
4. Prior Experience lead teams of Network engineers is a
huge plus
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels
of the organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong
and effective communicator.
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the
support of this project.
