Job Title: Data Analyst/Data Modeler Location: Downers Grove, IL Durations: 5-8+ Months Contract Description: *Skills:* Experience in using Erwin Data Modeler including its forward and reverse engineering feature set. Experience defining system integration models combining data from disparate source systems and creation of semantic layer for reporting keeping ETL and database performance in mind. Proficient in SQL query writing for investigating data anomalies and patterns. Deep understanding of developing enterprise data models that meet normalization rules as well as enterprise data warehouses using Kimball, Inmon, or hybrid methodologies. Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products. Familiarity with various types and sources of health care information, including financial and patient-level data files. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment. Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required. Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests.
