I recently came across your resume, We are looking for “*QA Engineer with ETL/SQL”* for our *Direct Client* and believe it is a great fit for the position described below. send the resumes to *M <j...@truglobal.com>i...@truglobal.com <i...@truglobal.com>* *Title : QA Engineer with ETL/SQL* *Location : Atlanta, GA (Marietta)* *Type : Long-term Contract* *Candidate MUST have excellent communication skills.* *Interview process: Phone/Skype – client will hire off a phone interview* The Senior QA Engineer is assigned to a project to estimate effort, build and execute test cases, research, record, and analyze defects, provide leadership to more junior team members, and ensure test coverage is complete. *Responsibilities:* • Reviews and provides input to requirements/design documents. • Participates in estimating test effort, designing approach, and identifying risks. • Designs, maintains, executes, and retests test cases. • Conducts test case reviews. • Triages and reports test defects and analyzes trends. • Develops test data where needed. • Executes SQL commands to manage and verify data. • Ensures traceability of test cases to requirements. • Reviews and provides input to installation, implementation, and training materials. • Supports UAT resources and activities. • Reports execution and defect status to management. • Develops expert knowledge across an application. • Provides leadership to more junior testing staff • Contributes to an ongoing process of improving test efficiency and accuracy through the use of better processes, tools, ideas, and infrastructure improvements. • Participates in team meetings, working with developers, business analysts, project managers, user advocates, and other testers, local and remote. • Collaborates with resources internal and external to the team *Required Skills:* • 6+ years of progressive software quality engineering experience with enterprise software and web software. • 4+ years of experience with testing methodologies such as Interoperability, White Box testing, System testing, Integration testing and Regression testing, with an emphasis on test strategy, specification & creation. • 4+ years of experience with Quality Center for test case design, creation and management. • 3+ years of experience testing multi-tier applications using Cloud technologies. • 3+ years of experience testing on client-server applications. • 3+ years of experience testing GUI applications that integrate to downstream systems through web services and batch processing. • 2 years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange, Extract, Transform, Load and specifically Informatica, Biz Talk, and Mainframe. • Familiar with a variety of testing concepts, practices, and procedures. • Strong knowledge of the software development life cycle and roles. • Strong technical skills and understanding of data base structures and infrastructure elements. • Experience with Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills. • Negotiating and consensus-building skills • Excellent verbal and written skills • Attention to detail, ability to multi-task • Customer-focused, service-oriented *Nice to have skills, but not required:* • Experience in the retail industry desired, but not required. • Testing certifications are a plus. *Education:* Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in computer science, engineering, business, or related field.
