Title: Devops Engineer (.Net Background) posted on 2014-09-11 16:25:48 Job Description:· Knowledge or Experience with Chef And Puppet highly preferred . · Setup staging/production sites in a PaaS Azure environment · Lead design and implementation for operation oriented projects from conception to completion · Application Oncall Coverage · Setup real-time application monitors, dashboards and alerts · Participate in service performance analysis and tuning, capacity planning and demand forecasting · Scale servers and services up or down as needed · Deployments per development team release plans · Create and run operational productivity scripts/tools · Issue research & resolution · Monitor and test Disaster Recovery and Backup functions Job Requirements: Qualifications: • 2+ years of operations or development/coding experience in a programming language such as .NET, C#, SQL • Good knowledge in Web/Cloud based technologies (HTML, CSS, RoR, JavaScript, etc.).
