Title: Data Power Architect posted on 2014-09-11 16:48:24 Job Description:*Job Title- Data Power Architect* Location-Plymouth, MN Duration- 7 months + *Contract Position in either Plymouth, Minnesota or Hartford, Connecticut* We are currently hiring a Sr. IT Architect with DataPower experience, This position is on the Application Enablement Web Service Architecture team. In this role you will be focused on DataPower and Cloud architecture and will work as a key part of a dynamic team as both a technologist and a technical evangelist. This is high visibility role with considerable opportunity for driving innovation, providing technical leadership and creatively tackling problems in a group poised for growth. The ideal candidate should have extensive DataPower experience, including setting up proxies, developing XSLT transformations, implementing WS-Security, and designing solution patterns. The ideal candidate would also have development experience with object-oriented technologies and web services. *Primary Responsibilities:* Design and develop solutions for exposing Cloud services, including Software as a Service (SAAS), governance and API-management. Develop proxies for services, including web services and MQ services. Develop XSLT transformations. Design and develop new patterns and solutions as needed to support the expanding usage of DataPower XI50/52 in the intranet, DMZ, and Cloud zones. Document designs; create CCDs and descriptive documentation of solutions. Integrate DataPower with external systems and tools for authentication and authorization. Troubleshoot issues on DataPower, working with the development and operations teams to quickly resolve issues. Be a part of an on-call support rotation for supporting DataPower production operations. Mentor and support the development team on DataPower development and design. Mentor and support the operations team for DataPower administration. Participate in broader architecture design for Application Enablement systems, beyond DataPower.
