Job title:*.Net with POS Exp.* Duration:9 months Location: Boston, MA upgrade our Point-Of-Sale (POS) system (GlobalSTORE) to the current version. This will involve porting our customizations to run in .NET 3.5 and utilize new technologies such as Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). We are looking to supplement our team of two developers with a contractor with the appropriate skillset. Skillset: The candidate must have experience with C#, VB.NET, WPF, WCF. They must have a strong development background, work well in a team environment, have excellent communication and documentation skills and have the ability to travel (to the Fujitsu Development Center in North Carolina). Familiarity with Sarbanes Oxley and PCI Compliance is a plus. Experience with Secure Coding Standards is also a plus. The ideal candidate would have some experience with the Fujitsu GlobalSTORE product or similar POS system, but this is not a requirement.
