Duration: 12+ months Summary:
- The main function of an Infrastructure/Systems Administrator is to install, configure, and support Citrix software and tools, including integration tasks for in-house developed systems and/or purchased software solutions within the technical infrastructure of the organization. - A typical systems administrator is responsible for monitoring the network to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance and issue resolution. Job Responsibilities: - Maintain and administer Citrix environments, including systems software, applications software, and all configurations. - Perform disaster recovery operations. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and when necessary on/off-shift and during weekends. - Configure, monitor and maintain virus protection software. - Provide guidance and assistance to other team members. - Work with vendors on integration of purchased application solutions. Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. - Strong ability to work independently and manage one’s time as well as well as being a collaborative team member. - Strong ability to identify, interpret and evaluate system and network requirements. - Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. - Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Group Policies - Fully knowledgeable of XenApp 6.5, Xendesktop 5.6, PVS 6.1 and Xenserver Netscaler, Citrix Access Gateway experience desired. - PowerShell, VB scripting experience desired.
