WCM Architect
The IBM WebSphere Portal Senior Architect responsible for planning, designing and developing IBM WCM (WebSphere Portal) solution. Responsibilities include conceptual design, architecture and topology, solution design and implementation. Candidate is expected to participate in documenting , designing and leading implementation of IBM WCM Portal functionality and the related application integration and enhancements within the applications. Required Skills 10 years of experience in planning and implementing IBM WCM Portal solutions Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and coaching a team of architects and developers Experience with implementing : WCM authoring and delivery, WCM Information Architecture, Workflows, Multilingual site, SEO Taxonomies, IBM Personalization APIs Design of Authoring and Presentation templates, Custom WCM Components, Site Management, WCM Syndication, Managed Pages. Web interface design, Accessibility standards WCM APIs, Content migration from other CMS, WCI. JSR 286 Web Content Viewer Portlet Nice to have Skills Experience with IBM WebSphere Portal 8 development skills using Rational Application Developer 8. WebSphere Portal Modular Theme Design Design and Development of Content Authoring and Presentation Templates Portlet Development frameworks - JSR 286, Spring framework Jquery, Bootstrap Tasks Process Flows Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility Provide best practice and industry specific solutions Provide recommendations for alternative or out of the box solutions Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
