*Position: Salesforce Developer* *Location: Sterling /McLean VA* *Duration: Long Term* *Responsibilities:* - Work with Team Members to define scope of development efforts. - Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high quality business solutions on the Force.com platform. - Communicate with other resources regarding status, technical issues and creative solutions. *Required Skills/Experience:* - Min Experience 8 yrs. of experience - Minimum Salesforce Certifications: *ADM201* and *DEV401.* - Nice to have Salesforce certification* DEV501.* - 2+ years of development experience on the Salesforce.com platform - Experience developing and delivering solutions to real customer problems using Salesforce.com, preferably with an emphasis on Sales, Customer Service, and/or Marketing issues. - Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com platform out-of-the-box functionality and configuration - Solid understanding of and detailed experience with Salesforce.com architecture and API - Strong working knowledge of APEX (classes, triggers and web services), Visual Force, Salesforce APIs, SOQL, Force.com platform - Force.com development experience, with a strong focus on Apex and Visualforce development. - Working knowledge of one or more IDEs, Eclipse, Mavens Mate (Sublime). - Experience managing code repositories with detailed requirement documents. - Experience delivering accurate and complete deployment plans for managing custom development lifecycle. - Familiarity with systems development lifecycle (SDLC). - Nice to have Java or C# development experience, and web application development experience, including solid experience with Java or C#, as well as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. - Solid knowledge of SOQL. - Strong oral and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to provide detailed design documents and deployment plans for development efforts. - Ability to support emergency development requests as they arise across the Neustar Salesforce Ecosystem. - Must support US Business hours (Eastern Standard Time preferred). Experience with Agile development practices a plus.
