Role : Java Software Engineer *(Java, Node, Spring)* Location : Menlo Park, CA Duration :Full Time Interview :Phone+ Skype Skills : *Requirements:* · *10 or more years of experience* managing application design, software development, maintenance and delivery with at least 5-year experience on web application servers. · Passion for improving quality, performance and reliability of engineering systems; passion for engineering excellence. · Experience in leading a team of software engineers in building a software beginning from the conception stage. · Experience with managing, prioritizing and executing multiple concurrent software development projects. · Excellent Analytical & Problem solving skills · Experience with Web architecture, design and development tools. · Experience with SQL, relational databases, multi-tiered software development, and web-based software development is a plus. · 8 years of experience in* Java programming skills*. · 3 years of experience with ORM (Hibernate/JPA/iBatis). · 5 years of experience in building applications using SOA and* Spring Framework*. · Experience in JSP, JDBC, Java Servlets, *REST, SOAP*, XML/XSLT, HTML, ANT, SVN, Maven. · Experience with implementing software in a variety of operating environments (UNIX, Linux and Windows). · Experience with C/C++ skills is a plus. · Experience with *Javascript Frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap* preferred) is a plus. · Experience with *Node.js is a plus.* · Experience with Perl and Shell Scripting is a plus. · Experience working with IDE required. · Excellent communications skills and ability to work with geographically dispersed team. · Must be a team player. · Bachelor of Engineering preferred in Computer Science *Primary duties include:* · Leading multiple initiatives that help shape the release pipeline through Design, Implementation, Testing, Debugging/Troubleshooting, Documentation and Support phases. · Extensive Experience in Full lifecycle application development. · Object-oriented Design, Analysis (OOA and OOD) and Software modeling. · Follow good software development practices (Functional specs, Design specs, Unit Test, Functional Test). · Performance Optimization: SQL, JVM · Design, estimate, document and deliver significant capabilities while effectively working across team boundaries. · Explores new technologies, drives “proof of concept” to assess feasibility. · Utilize innovative approaches to solve complex technical problems and apply advanced technical principles, theories and concepts to develop products.
