Need Retail POS/Store Systems Business Analysis for Columbus -- 8 months
This job is not Retail Banking!!!!!!!
* **EXPERIENCE: *
- Six years or more working in a Business Analyst role.
- Strong understanding of all aspects of the software development life
cycle.
- Requires excellent technical writing, organizational, multi-tasking,
and problem solving skills; effective analytical skills to efficiently
gather requirements; detail-oriented; ability to model/map business
processes, conduct current/future business process diagrams, and has the
ability to re-engineer business processes.
- Ability to logically and systematically analyze and solve software
problems.
- Ability to express technical concepts and procedures clearly,
precisely, and in easy to understand information, verbally and in writing;
good interpersonal/customer relations skills.
- Possesses personal traits of positive attitude; inquisitiveness;
self-motivation; sensitive to schedule demands; enthusiasm for new
challenges; user-centric.
- Receptive and supportive of team efforts; ability to lead others to
accomplish tasks.
- Efficient in the use of business software applications required to
fulfill the functions of this position.
- Ability to learn and then train others on new applications.
- Experience with automated test tools; programming languages (I.e.; C++,
Java, VB, HTML, shell scripting); various operating systems and platforms.

*BUSINESS ANALYST – STORE SYSTEMS*
- Analyze complex business problems and identify software applications to
solve them.
- Develop business cases to support IT initiatives and feasibility of
projects.
- Coordinate interdependencies and resolve issues with other business
application teams.
- Gather and define business requirements, functional requirements,
non-functional requirements and report specifications.
- Review test cases.
- Analyze and map processes; develop Use Cases.
- Process change requests.
- Assist less experienced specialists with complex problems regarding
approaches, application knowledge, and technical knowledge.
*EDUCATION: *
- BA/BS degree in computer science, mathematics, software engineering or
related field or equivalent education and experience.
